“We have an opportunity to end suffering on a massive scale,
to cure diseases that impact millions around the world,
and to push medicine past the boundaries of what was once thought possible.”

“For some diseases –not all, not yet– the finish line is in sight.”

2012 NOBEL LAUREATE AND GLADSTONE SENIOR INVESTIGATOR

Gladstone is embarking on a $350 million campaign to accelerate research and seize the opportunity to solve some of humankind’s most devastating conditions:
Alzheimer’s. Heart disease. Cancer. Deadly viruses. Parkinson’s. Diabetes.

The campaign will empower us to grow to 800 scientists – biologists, engineers, physicians, data scientists – organized around 45 interconnected, radically collaborative labs with a single purpose – to overcome disease.

CAMPAIGN IMPERATIVES

The world is faced with a set of intractable problems and finite resources to solve them.

The aim of this campaign is to direct philanthropy to where it will have the greatest immediate impact and advance our science as urgently as possible.

We are not thinking in terms of short-term initiatives or priorities of the moment.

To launch the next era of Gladstone discoveries, we have identified four clear imperatives.
